What is the micro usb cable that can plug into the TMU? And how can we confirm the cable is working? I am stumped here because al the micro usb cables I have, no can plug in and fit. Serious set back.

You can plug any version of micro USB in the TMU port, but it will only transmit data as fast as the 2.0 technology supports since the socket on the TMU board is version 2.0.
You should also make sure that your cable is meant for data transmission and not only charging. The cable also has to be of USB type B Micro. That means that the cable you found online will not work with the AutoPi device.
A good way of confirming that your cable is working, is to connect a keyboard and see if keystrokes are registering - Make sure to connect all cables before you power the device on.
Regarding your last inquiry, is the micro USB not entering the socket correctly, does it not have enough space, or is it just not the correct type?
