Please, pretty please, make Gen3 have several status LEDs and make them visible through the casing. No need for light pipes or anything, just a bunch of colors will do.
It’s extremely hard to figure out what’s happening with the unit.
Without the beep, there’s no indication on whether it’s booted or not.
There’s no way to tell if it has a GPS lock or not.
There’s no way to tell if it’s talking to the cloud or not.
Some of it (or most of it) can be solved with voice prompts, but still, some LEDs would be super helpful when debugging and installing, and i doubt they’d break the bank on the BOM.
