Trying to use my autopi with the 12-volt adapter, but it keeps shutting down even tho I have tried to disable that feature.

Can you check the voltage of the adaptor, because if it is not above 12.3 volts, the device will read it as critical_voltage, and shut down after 5 or so minutes.
