Starting service with Tello, IMEI number required

Has anybody used Tello in the United States? It’s a very cheap MVNO with data-only plans. From what I gather on the web, it uses T-Mobile’s network.

To sign up they want my “phone’s” IMEI number. I’m currently signed up with T-Mobile, but Tello requires its own SIM. To make it even more complicated, I’m out of town and don’t have access to the AutoPi, and am trying to take advantage of Tello’s half-off discount which expires 3/31. :joy: Is the IMEI number stored in somewhere?

I see from other replies various strategies for other carriers… wondering what to do in this case…
