Software update on the 10th of January - Stability improvements and advanced logging

We have pushed a new release that contains the following changes.

Frontend - my.autopi.io

  • Added “workers” that allows users to have complete control over the OBD communication.
  • Fixed issues with advanced settings.
  • Improved device restart prompt on successful device sync.
  • Improved sync feature on multiple pages.
  • Various changes to edit modals to make them more intuitive.

AutoPi Core

  • Minor stability improvements and performance optimizations.

NB, auto updates are currently disabled, but will be enabled again soon.
Currently the update takes quite a while to finish, and it will restart the services running on the device. So please be patient when installing the updates, it should finish by itself, or retry on errors.
Let us know if you experience any issues.

As always, any comments etc are welcome!

Hi,
With RPI3 I still get the same errors as with the previous updated, it does not matter what USB port I use to connect to:

Hi

Actually  - The changes in this release allows the loggers to be completely customized which is needed to support HEV, EV, BEV etc. So we are still working to support EV’s in the best way possible.
We expect to focus on EV support for the next release cycle, ie. the next few weeks, so while I can’t promise when it will be ready in its ‘final form’, we are definitely working towards supporting EV’s etc, in various ways.

Best regards
