Hi,
would it be possible to add the ability to setup a device to connect to an SSID over the cloud interface? Currently it is only possible by connecting to the device directly, the cloud interface being limited to only the setup of the device as an access point and related parameters. When devices are far away, it becomes an issue when handling a fleet.

This is a very good suggestion, thank you very much for that. I have added this as a task on our backlog and there will be a discussion if this feature is going to be implemented.
However, while it is definitely possible to implement, I cannot quite guarantee that it is going to be implemented right away, if at all. Keep an eye on the announcements topic for releases/updates that might include this change.
