Is the API hosted in the cloud or is it local on the AutoPi?
Because I want to write my own Python script which sends specific and edited data to my MQTT-Broker (most recent data like speed…).

Well, we do have an API hosted in the cloud, as well as local on the AutoPi, however, each serve a different purpose. You can try take a look at our API here: https://api.autopi.io/
Alternatively, you can setup the MQTT to send data directly from the device to the broker. Read more about it here: Push Data to MQTT on Raspberry Pi
