New AutoPi 4G Setup

Just received my V3 in the post today, thanks guys. Having trouble getting 4G working. The device seems to be working and I have managed to get it connected to my home wifi. Can run commands via the cloud when it’s on the drive.

I am having trouble getting 4G to work though. I have an EE sim. Signal is good in my area. Tried entering the settings when locally connected and no connection is made.

When running cmd.run “qmi-manager status” I get

‘[ERROR] QMI network not connected’

Running “lsusb” suggests that the modem is installed as it lists

Bus 001 Device 004: ID 2c7c:0125 Quectel Wireless Solutions Co., Ltd. EC
25 LTE
modem

Any thoughts on likely issues? It is a contract SIM from EE which was working fine in my iPad before transferring to the AutoPi. In the settings I can see an IMEI, so guess the SIM is being recognised?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Jason

Hey guys,

Make sure you have configured the APN settings correctly. It’s briefly explained in the Getting Started Guide at step 8.
