It would be interesting to be able to map the cellular coverage of your area. Put on a map a color for the connected network and a signal strength value. a bit like the Netmonitor application does (Monitor CDMA/GSM/WCDMA/LTE network: current and neighboring cell infos, signal strength. Multi SIM support (when possible). Use GPS/geolocation. Generate database with custom info on cells. Export log to file CLF/KML. Map shows cell location. List WiFi access points.)
Obviously this is useful for checking the changes to the dongle position if they improve the reception coverage. PEr who, like me, has big cellular signal problems!
