CanBus AC Control Recording

Hello, I’m looking to gain insight from more technical users. On my 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser the AC control unit is going out. My goal is to use the canbus sniffer to record AC Controller signals to replicate them using the AutoPi. Has anyone accomplished this? If so, how successful was your project?
