Back after long hiatus - Gen 1 vs Gen 2?

It’s been a couple years since I tried to do anything with my Autopi DIY dongle. I see we are now on Gen3.

I can’t find anything in the forum comparing the different generations. I think I have a Gen 2 device, but not sure. It says Ver 3.4.1 on the pc board. I ordered my dongle before they were released to the public, so it could be a Gen 1.

If so, are the Gen 1 dongles still supported?

Don’t bother with V2 and I wouldn’t recommend V3 after the crappy support for their system and the false advertising about it’s such cool features that no one else is showing off or explaining HOW they did it.

Just make your own or just get some other cheaper device is my recommendation.
