Auto Pi reboots every couple of minutes

Subject of the issue

I’ve connected AutoPi Telematics Unit - DIY Edition to RPi3 B+.
Every couple of minutes or so the device reboots.

It looks very similar to the issue described here in:

Reboot system every 10 minutes

Hi everyone, I stopped the salt-minion service to customize the code, but Autopi is restarting every 10 minutes, could you help me with this problem?

However I’m running plain Raspbian OS / Ubuntu server OS without the stack of AutoPi.
How can I disable this behavior in my setup?

Reproduced both with Raspbian OS & Ubuntu server

Steps to reproduce

Connect the device and wait for a few minutes

Expected behaviour

The device should not reboot

Actual behaviour

the device reboots

I’m using regular Raspbian / Ubuntu Server OS, not power.status command
